Quarterly department reports, insurance renewal rates, and a biking coalition are on the agenda for Monday’s Carroll County Board of Supervisors meeting. The board convenes at 9 a.m. at the Conservation Education Center at Swan Lake State Park. County officials will open their meeting with representatives from the Manning Childcare Center regarding their Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 funding request. The supervisors will not make any funding decisions at Monday’s meeting. Carroll County Sheriff Ken Pingrey will then present to the supervisors his 2023 fourth quarter report on his office and the jail’s operations. Officials then will review the Carroll County Veteran Affairs Office’s FY25 budget, followed by a review and discussion on the renewal rates for the county’s health insurance plan for employees. Representatives from the Arcadia Share the Road group to discuss county support for biking access and safety near the community. The supervisors will close the meeting with a change order for the Carroll County Courthouse renovation project, the county’s initial offer to begin contract negotiations with the Carroll County Paramedics Association, and committee reports.
