The IKM-Manning Board of Education is seeking input from its stakeholders as the search for a new district leader gets underway. Superintendent Trevor Miller announced earlier this school year that he would not be returning to IKM-Manning after completing his current contract, and school officials quickly hired Grundmeyer Leader Services to assist the district in its search for his replacement. The first step in this process is determining what qualities IKM-Manning stakeholders desire in a superintendent. Parents, students, staff, and district residents are asked to complete a brief online survey by Friday, Jan. 12, which will aid Grundmeyer Leader Services in locating a potential candidate who is a good match for the community. The survey can be accessed by scanning the QR code or following the link included with this story on our website. According to the hiring firm, potential candidates will be reviewed on Feb. 12 and screened on Feb. 22. Formal interviews are slated for Feb. 28.
