More than 500 MidAmerican Energy customers were without power shortly before noon today (Monday). The outage appears to be the result of a ground transformer failure along Highway 30 east in Carroll near Collins Aerospace. Power appears to have been restored to most customers by 12:20 p.m. Carroll Broadcasting will bring more information as it becomes available.
