The annual awards were presented in the latter half of the festivities, with the 2023 Citizen of the Year going to Dave Bruner, the Good Neighbor Award to Charles, Cindy, and Scott Heider and the Heider Family Foundation, Humanitarian Award to Katie Kruse, Public Service Awards to Larry Devine and Vicki Gach, Heritage Business to Community Oil and Todd and Chico Kanne, and New Business to Tom and Cindy Bordenaro of Bordenaro’s Meat Market. Carroll Broadcasting will have more from these winners in upcoming newscasts over the next several days.
