The Carroll County Board of Supervisors has moved their regularly scheduled weekly meeting a day back on account of the President’s Day holiday on Monday. The supervisors convene at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, in the Swan Lake State Park Conservation Education Center. The board’s first item of business will be to authorize the board chair to sign an annual boundary and annexation survey response before moving into an intergovernmental sharing agreement, known as a 28E, concerning the Environmental Health Department. Other items on Tuesday’s agenda include approval of the Carroll County Compensation Board’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 recommendations for elected official salary adjustments, which came in at 3.2 percent for all positions. They will also consider FY25 non-elected/non-union salaries, non-profit funding requests, health insurance rates, and the overall county budget. They’ll close the meeting with a routine inter-fund transfer, consider a software contract, manure management annual updates, and committee reports. Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public, and a link to the complete agenda is included below.
