The cities of Manning and Coon Rapids have been selected to be two of the four community host for the Evolution of the Heartland Tour this upcoming fall. Evolution of the Heartland is an organization based out of Manning providing immersive industry tours, showcasing rural businesses and communities to change perceptions of small-town Iowa and create awareness and exposure for living, working, and playing in that community. Up to 50 people can sign up for this tour and will arrive in Manning and Coon Rapids for their selected dates between 9 and 10 a.m., spending the entire day exploring the community, departing no later than 6:30 p.m. This opportunity will allow Manning and Coon Rapids to promote local businesses, highlight agricultural practices, and show its thriving way of life. Coon Rapid’s will be hosting its event on Sept. 26 and Manning on Oct. 3. More details will be provided upon the approaching dates, and registration for those wanting to participate in these tours opens on May 1.
