The Carroll Community School District Board of Education has a short agenda for the upcoming meeting on Monday. After the personnel reports, the only item on the agenda is a work session with the Iowa Association of School Boards (IASB). Superintendent Dr. Casey Berlau says with the board all being relatively new, the work session will primarily focus on roles and responsibilities, working together as a team and on goal setting/strategic planning. Berlau says the main idea from this work session will be board development and that many boards across the state work with IASB on the same topics. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. at Adam’s Elementary School and the public is welcome to attend.
