Mass of Christian Burial for 82-year-old Larry Halbur of Denison will be held 10:30 AM, Monday, March 11 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison with burial in the parish cemetery. The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison is in charge of arrangements where friends may call from 1:00 – 3:30 P.M., Sunday, March 10 with a Rosary at 12:45 P.M. and a Prayer Service at 3:30 PM. He passed away Thursday, February 29 at Gracewell in Denison.
Survivors include his children: Annette (Ray) Watkins of Vail, Brenda (Bennett) Freese of Denison, Cindy (John) Dinis of California and Ed (Sara) Halbur of Ankeny; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Halbur of Arizona; sisters: Margaret (Tom) Denker of Halbur and Pat (Joe) Goblirsch of Jesup; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services are entrusted to the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison.
