Every year, the Carroll High School Foundation helps the students at the Carroll Community School District spread kindness through the school and the community. Foundation member Katie Kruse says this year, the focus was on how kindness can change the world, incorporating a new approach to the foundation’s yearly event. Inspired by a late supporter of the foundation, a new project was designed for the Carroll Middle School Students to spread kindness in the community.
Kruse says the students want to impact many members at all stages in and around Carroll.
If there is anything that the students take from these projects and events, Kruse wants them to feel the difference they made by spreading kindness.
Every year, the CHS Foundation has a goal to raise $50,000 to assist with the teachers in the district. From March 2023 the fundraising efforts and donations contributed to a total funding amount of almost $67,000 for the foundation account.
Kruse says some of the high school students will get to go on upcoming field trips on because of the funding provided by the CHS Foundation.
The CHS Foundation accepts donations year-round from those who wish to support the learning and experiences of CCSD students. The donation link has been provided below.
