With spring almost here, The Sacred Heart Community Closet in Manning is asking for donations of gently used clothing to continue to assist individuals around the community. The community closet helps an average of 20 individuals a month, which does not include the donations given to the school for students in need. The most in-demand items are men’s sweatshirts, t-shirts, and casual shoes for men, women, and children of all sizes. Those interested in donating can place their items under the coat rack in the Sacred Heart Church located at 203 Sue St. until March 13.
