Closed Session And Community Corrections Presentation On The Agenda For Carroll County Supervisors Monday

Swan-Lake-Conservation-Education-Center

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors has only a few items of business on its agenda for Monday, but those items include a closed session. The board convenes at 9 a.m. at the Conservation Education Center in Swan Lake State Park and opens with that closed session under Iowa Code 21.5(c), “to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation.” Upon returning to open session, the supervisor will hear from a representative from the 2nd Judicial District’s community-based corrections program. The only other items on the agenda are to approve payables, set a public hearing for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 proposed property tax levies, and committee reports. A copy of the March 11 Carroll County Board of Supervisor meeting agenda is included below.
