Commuters on Iowa 39 between Deloit and Odebolt must allow additional time or find an alternate route due to road construction starting the following Monday. The 23-mile-long stretch will have asphalt paving and resurfacing, which is looking to be completed in late June if the weather cooperates. While working, there will be intermittent lane closures with flaggers and pilot cars to assist drivers through the construction zone.
