Carroll County Burn Ban Has Been Lifted Due To Significant Rainfall

Carroll County Emergency Management has notified that the burn ban that has been in effect in Carroll County since Feb. 29 has been lifted due to the rainfall received. The ban has been called off as of 1 p.m. this afternoon (Thursday), almost a week after Audubon County has remove the burning prohibition throughout its county. As of today (Thursday), Greene and Guthrie Counties are the only ones in the listening area not to lift their burn bans.
