With the Glidden Dog Park’s agility equipment installed, the city is now looking for individuals who wish to purchase memorial benches and trees to complete the vision for the new space. City Administrator Brooke Peterson says she has been receiving videos from community members enjoying the new amenity with their pets. However, she says there is too much open space with no shade or a place for people to sit and relax. The City of Glidden is currently accepting donations to purchase around four memorial benches and plenty of trees to be strategically placed throughout the open field.
