With the HVAC project fully underway at the Audubon County Courthouse, some offices will be moving in the next couple of weeks while crews are working in that space. The Emergency Management and Sheriff’s offices will not be moving and will remain in the courthouse during the project’s duration. The county attorney will be moving to the new city clerk building, the old Audubon State Bank, located at 315 Broadway St. Please call 712-563-2202 with questions or need assistance. The Clerk of Court will also move to the same location with the county attorney. To contact the clerk of court, call 712-563-4275. The auditor and the Board of Supervisors will be moving to the Memorial Building at 410 N Park Pl. contact the county auditor by calling 712-563-2584. The rest of the offices will move to the IA National Guard Armory in Audubon, at 601 Southside Ave. Residents may contact the assessor by calling 712-563-3418, the recorder at 712-563-2119, and the treasurer’s office by calling 712-563-2293. All the offices are asking residents to please be patient with the changes and will keep the community updated on the project and timeline of moving back to the courthouse as best they can.
