With today (Tuesday) being the first day of spring, many surrounding communities are now opening registrations for their city’s spring and summer sports programs. Coon Rapids is still looking to hire three individuals to serve as little league coaches for the upcoming summer. The little league program needs a coach for the boys’ and girls’ teams of grades sixth and seventh, and the girls’ teams consisting of the fourth and fifth graders. If unable to fill these positions, the city cannot offer this program for these students.
