The public hearing for the proposed property tax levy for the city of Carroll will be held on Monday starting at 5:00 p.m. This public hearing, even though occurring the same date as the regular schedule meeting, will have its own agenda and be the sole focus for that portion of the hearing. The proposed tax levy rate for fiscal year (FY) 2025 is projected to be $12.16046, a decrease from the current FY 2024 rate of $12.16844 per $1000 of tax valuation. The public hearing will take place at City Hall Council Chambers, and also streamed on the City’s YouTube Page.
