The Auburn Public Library and the Auburn Historical Museum are teaming up again for the tenth annual raffle fundraiser, to help support both organization’s operating costs and special programs funded by them. Donetta Stewart, Librarian at the Auburn Public Library, says this fundraiser grew from just a few baskets raising around $500-600, to many donations of raffle items, which raises over $17,000 for both organizations to split. Not only does the proceeds of this fundraiser cover 20 percent of the operational costs of the library, but also helps to fund yearly programs.

Tickets are available at the library for cash or check only. Stewart says interested individuals can call the library to purchase raffle tickets and mail a check to the library, perfect for out-of-town individuals who want to participate. Individuals will purchase tickets based on what item they would wish to win, and ticket prices options are $2, $5, $10, $20 based on the item. Barto says there is a ton of wonderful prizes available to win.
