The Iowa Donor Network is kicking off a tour this April to spread awareness of organ and tissue donation for Donate Life Month. On Monday, April 1, the tour kicks off at the Calhoun County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Rockwell City to hear from Liz Market, whose goal is to speak at every DMV office in Iowa to tell the story of her daughter who was a recipient of organ donations. The presentation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the public is free to attend; no registration is required. The Drive For Life: Emily’s Legacy DMV Tour” seeks to honor Emily’s legacy by allowing her to dream big and live life to the fullest through organ donation and to inspire Iowans to check “yes” to being an organ and tissue donor. This campaign wants to emphasize the impact that one person can have in saving and enhancing the lives of others. Again, the Drive For Life: Emily’s Legacy DMV Tour” kicks off Monday at the Calhoun County DMV office in Rockwell City from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A link to the Iowa Donor Registry has been included below.
