The Sac County Economic and Tourism Development is offering to pay the registration fee for individuals who are working or living in Sac County that are interested in a Grant Writing 101 training. Sac County Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach is teaming up with the Sac City Chamber of Commerce and the Sac County Economic and Tourism Development to offer this workshop to teach the basics of grant writing and help grant writers in Sac County to become successful by providing tips, help on how to identify potential funders, project planning, overcoming the challenges of seeking and using grant funding and the process of how to apply for a grant. The class will be on April 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Sac County ISU Extension and Outreach office. Those in Sac County wishing to attend can contact Brandy Wilson at 712-661-9713 to have the $20 registration fee paid by the Sac County Economic and Tourism Development.
