The Carroll Country Club will be going by a new name beginning this spring. In an announcement on Tuesday, the course’s new owners, which includes Philadelphia 76ers Head Coach Nick Nurse, say the course will now be known as Carroll National. A revamped logo is expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks, and existing signage will be updated as soon as possible. Nurse says the name isn’t the only thing that’s being changed.
Nurse says once the interior is finished, the focus will shift to exterior renovations.
Nurse adds that golfers will also notice some significant aesthetic improvements on the course.
The course has been a staple of Carroll since its establishment in 1922, and Nurse says their goal is to make it a place its members and the community can be proud of again.
