The countdown to the annual Friends of Kuemper Ball is entering the final few weeks, and students, staff, and supporters are looking forward to their next celebration of Catholic education in the area. Tim and Ann Fitzpatrick, two of the chairs for this year’s event, say the overwhelmingly successful fundraiser is hitting a significant milestone with the 40th annual ball in 2024, and they are celebrating the legacy continuing with their theme.

Ann says the Kuemper Ball has grown year after year since the first ball was held four decades ago, and they have a big night in store for the Saturday, April 27 program at the Kuemper Fieldhouse.

Ball tickets and entries for the Ag and Vehicle raffles are still available and can be purchased at the Kuemper High School office or online at www.kuemper.org/ball or www.kuemper.org/raffle. Tim says an enormous amount of time and effort is put into fundraising before the Kuemper ball, but the night itself provides a significant boost to that preliminary total.

The 2023 Friends of Kuemper Ball raised a record-breaking $786,000 for the parochial school system, bringing the total raised since its creation to nearly $12 million. Kuemper uses those funds to support teacher salary enhancements, capital projects, equipment purchases, and much more.
