The Coon Rapids Development Group will be providing a free lunch and learn program this upcoming week to inform developers and contractors of tax credits to be able to provide more affordable housing in Coon Rapids. Community Coordinator Katie Mason says the development group is always looking for ways to bring new and affordable housing opportunities to the city. This informative session on April 17 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. is a chance to learn about available programs.

Steven Benne, the Vice President of Development Finance for Iowa Area Development Group, will also discuss the application process and eligibility requirements and answer any additional questions about the $30,000 workforce housing tax credit available per unit. Registration is required, and the deadline to sign up is Monday.
