The Manning-Manilla Knights of Columbus Council 12438 invites the public to celebrate with coffee, donuts, and rolls after Mass for a significant milestone. This Sunday at the Sacred Heart Church in Manning, this Knights of Columbus Council will celebrate 25 years in the making with past, present, and future members and the community they strive to assist through donations and fundraising events. Current Grand Knight, Denny Kasperbauer, says he has been with the organization since the start and recalls how they could give back to local programs.
Kasperbauer says the most significant donations go to the pregnancy resource centers based out of Carroll and Denison to promote their stance on pro-life beliefs.
Kasperbauer says the Knights of Columbus are looking forward to participating in the 25th anniversary of Kinder Fest this summer in Manning, grilling hamburgers. In celebration of both milestones, the Knights of Columbus aim to raise the largest dollar amount yet for the event.
Again, this Sunday, after the 9 a.m. mass at the Sacred Heart Church in Manning, the Knights of Columbus Council out of Manning and Manilla invite the public to celebrate with them the success of supporting the community for the past 25 years. Coffee, rolls, and donuts will be served.
