U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has announced four upcoming town hall meetings, three near the Carroll Broadcasting listening area. On Wednesday, April 24, Grassley will be in Crawford County from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Denison Municipal Utilities meeting room. The senator has two stops planned for Thursday, April 25. The first is in Shelby County at the Harlan Public Library from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and then in Guthrie County at the Panora Community Center from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. The other announced town hall is Tuesday, April 23, in eastern Iowa in Louisa County. Grassley says, “The essence of representative government is continued dialogue between elected officials and the people we represent. I look forward to hearing directly from Iowans in Louisa, Crawford, Shelby, and Guthrie counties and bringing their insights back to the policymaking tables in Washington.” This marks Grassley’s 44th consecutive year of holding at least one town hall meeting in all 99 Iowa counties every year.
