New Hope Village Hosted 15th Quilt Auction This Past Weekend And Raised Over $45,000

New Hope Village celebrated its 15th Biennial Quilt Auction this past weekend and raised over $45,000 to continue supporting New Hope’s services. Jennifer Quigley, who was hired as the organization’s new CEO back in November, celebrated her first quilt auction and said she was amazed at all the work and support put into the event.

Supporters of New Hope gathered at the Carrollton Inn this past Saturday, viewing the many quilts, engaging in the social hour and dinner, and bidding on items during the silent and live auctions. Director of Development Angie Owen says the silent auction sold two six-day trips to Africa and a Volquartsen firearm package. Still, the quilts made by quilters near and far continue to be the main attraction.

Owen and Quigley want to thank everyone who came out to support New Hope during this event, as well as all the donors of quilts, auction items, and sponsors who made this event possible.

While no official date has been set yet, Owen says the organizing committee is already planning for 2026, when the next Quilt Auction will be held, and will release more details later this year.
