Due to changes in the Senate schedule, U.S. Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst are adjusting dates for town hall meetings planned for the listening area. Ernst was planning to meet with constituents in Wall Lake at the Shelter House but needs to cancel to accommodate the Senate voting schedule. Grassley is still planning to make two stops in counties in the area as part of the 44th consecutive year of hosting at least one meeting in each Iowa county. Grassley will be in Denison in Crawford County on Wednesday at the Denison Municipal Utilities from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, Grassley will travel to Panora to meet with residents in Guthrie County at the Panora Community Center from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. At the town hall, Grassley will take questions or comments from constituents, allowing county residents to control what is discussed. Grassley will also be in Harlan this week at the Harlan Public Library. Again, Ernst will not hold a town hall meeting in Wall Lake this upcoming week, and Grassley will be in Denison from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Panora from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
