Sean Philip Sauvago, age 48, of Carroll, IA, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Rev. Angelo Luis officiating. Burial will be in the Carroll City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 – 7 P.M. on Friday, May 3, 2024. Additional visitation will be from 1:00 – 1:45 P.M. on Saturday at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home prior to the service.

Born on October 13, 1975 in Muscatine, IA. He was the son of Philip and Beverly (Hardy) Sauvago. Sean grew up in Carroll and graduated from Carroll High School. He began working right out of high school and worked for Murray Welding where he was currently employed. Sean enjoyed restoring cars, especially Dodge and anything Mopar, motorcycles, going to concerts, and his cats. Sean truly loved his job and working at Murray Welding.
Sean is survived by his fiancé Heather Edwards and her daughter Kalea of Carroll; his sister Stacey Sauvago of Carroll; a niece Jess Sauvago; a nephew Noah Sauvago; Kenneth Schaefer and his son Kenny; and many good friends and partners in crime.
Sean was preceded in death by his parents Philip and Beverly Sauvago; his grandparents; and his niece Amber Sauvago.
