The City of Wall Lake has been working on new projects since purchasing the unused elementary school building. City Clerk Chris Rodman says the city has been working to fix up the new REC center that opened up in August of 2022, completing small sections of the renovations at a time.
Rodman says there was a lot of interest in a fitness center for the city, with over 100 memberships sold for the REC. The gym and fitness room updates are just some of the projects for the old elementary school.
Drost Physical Therapy and Performance business has served the area for around two years. Rodman says the business’s success is pushing the owners to expand for more.
Once the business is officially settled into the new location, the City of Wall Lake and Drost Physical Therapy and Performance are looking to host an open house to invite the public to get a first look at the newly remodeled space and more information on the services the sports performance center could offer. More details will be provided for the open house in the next few weeks.
