The official lineup for the free concerts has been released, and next month, the kick-off of the Live and Local events hosted by the Carroll Chamber of Commerce (CCC) will be celebrated. Business Development Director Rosanne Nees says this is the fourth year of the concert series, and each year seems to bring a bigger crowd, so it was time for a location change.
The rest of the event will be relatively the same. Attendees can bring their lawn chairs and cooler with soda, beer, or seltzers, as no hard liquor or glass bottles are allowed. Tents will also not be allowed to ensure everyone has a good view of the band on stage, as Nees says the five bands scheduled to play this year are ones you do not want to miss.
Nees says after hosting the first Live and Local in 2021, the CCC didn’t realize so many community members would bring their children to make it a family event. Nees says organizers are working to try to add more kid-friendly activities.
Nees wants to thank all the sponsors mentioned earlier who make this event available to the public at no cost, CCC staff who assist with planning and organizing and ensure everything runs smoothly, and all participants who continue to come and support the Carroll community. Carroll Chamber of Commerce hopes to see everyone out for the first concert on June 6, featuring Lincoln Highway. The full list of lineup and sponsors has been included below.
