Registration is available for the Carroll Chamber of Commerce’s annual Color Fun Run/Walk 5K next month. This year marks the ninth year the Chamber has hosted the colorful trek around Swan Lake. The 2024 festivities will be hosted on Saturday, June 8. The Color Run begins at 9 a.m. that morning at the park’s South Shelter and goes counterclockwise around the lake through nine “color zones,” where sponsor businesses and organizations will toss vibrant colored powder on the participants as they pass by. The registration fee is $30 for adults, $20 for children between six and 12 years old, and kids five and under can join for free. Runners or walkers who register prior to May 31 will be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Same-day registration is available the day of the run, but t-shirt availability is not guaranteed.
