Residents Using The Twin Lakes Water System In Calhoun County Are Placed Under A Boil Advisory

Pot-Boiling-Order-Advisory

Residents in Calhoun County who are under the Twin Lakes water system have been placed under a boil advisory following a water main break. While repairs have already been completed, the advisory is still in effect until laboratory samples confirm the absence of bacteria in the supply. Twin Lake Utilities says they should have the sample back after 18 hours. Residents planning to use water for consumption or food preparation must boil it for at least two minutes before use or to use bottled water as an alternative. Officials say the water remains safe for activities like showering, laundry, and outdoor use without boiling. Questions or concerns can be directed to the Twin Lakes Utilities at 712-297-8616.
