The Auburn Public Library is all ready for summer, releasing the schedule for the upcoming Read, Renew, Repeat Summer Program. Every week, starting Monday, June 3 through Tuesday, July 30, the library has either a presentation or an activity planned for all to come join. Registration is not required during presentations but encouraged for activities to ensure enough supplies for everyone. To register, call the library at 712-688-2264. Four activities are scheduled for the summer, where participants can decorate potted plants, garden stakes, and windchimes, along with rock painting and drawing pictures in front of the library on the sidewalk with chalk. Guest speakers for the program include Jackie Lingle, a Sac County Naturalist, a representative from the Blank Park Zoo, Iowa State University’s Insect Zoo, and Magician Rick Eugene. The library’s schedule concludes with Absolute Science Foam Cannon at the Auburn Ball Fields starting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30. The Auburn Library is super excited to be able to offer this program for youth in Auburn and surrounding communities and hopes to see everyone join the fun for this year’s summer program. The complete schedule has been included below.
