Willie Nelon has released “Made In Texas,” the second track of Willie’s new, upcoming studio album The Border. ‘Made in Texas’ was written by Shawn Camp and Monty Holmes, and celebrates Nelson’s 91st birthday (who was born in Texas in 1933 on April 29th).
‘Made In Texas’ follows the release of the album’s first single ‘The Border’ which was released on March 14 and is an interpretation of Rodney Crowell and Allen Shamblin’s “The Border”. The Border will be Nelson’s 152 album and will consist of 10 new songs, four of which will be Nelson and Buddy Cannon compositions.
Willie Nelson & Family will also be on the road from June through September co-headlining the Outlaw Music Festival Tour 2024, featuring an all-star lineup inicluding Nelson, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, John Mellencamp, Billy Strings and more.
