The Lake View Historical Museum is hosting a fundraiser this weekend, telling the “big stories” of the community’s past. This Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rustic River Winery, the event will showcase the museum’s work, its board and volunteers who continue to preserve the history of Lake View. Tickets for the event are $30, which include a meal catered by Cattlemen’s Steakhouse and Stone Pier BBQ, with one glass of Rustic River wine. Entertainment by David Simmons and a silent auction will coincide with the Lake View Historical Museum presentation. Those wishing to purchase tickets can do so at Day Dreamers by cash or check. Lake View Historical Museum thanks all the sponsors who have helped make this fundraiser possible and looks forward to seeing everyone on Saturday to help continue to support the Lake View Historical Museum.
