The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating vehicle theft and ATM break-ins early yesterday (Wednesday) morning. In the early hours, a car dealership in Audubon reported two vehicles stolen off the lot throughout the night. The same vehicles were then used to break into ATMs at Audubon and Exira banks. The Audubon Police Department, Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Fusion Center, and other multiple agencies are assisting with the investigation as similar criminal activities have been reported in different communities.
