More than a thousand players, coaches, parents, and fans are expected to make their way to Carroll this weekend for the fourth annual Kick It Up Youth Soccer Tournament. Tournament Director Ryan Milligan says the tournament has gotten larger each year it has been held, and 30 teams are registered to play on Saturday.

Teams from as far away as St. Louis, Mo. are making the trip to Carroll to play on Saturday, which will feature over 100 games of U10, U12, and U14 soccer. Milligan says the tournament is made possible thanks to the City of Carroll’s Parks and Recreation Department.

Players will also receive day passes to the Carroll Aquatic Center to enjoy during their team’s downtime, and organizers have multiple food trucks lined up to be on-site at the Carroll Sports Complex throughout the day. Milligan says soccer fans are welcome to come cheer on the teams.
