Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) and McCrary-Rost Clinics are excited to welcome three specialty employees to expand services to patients in Lake City and surrounding communities. Dr. Stephen Fox, an ophthalmologist, started seeing patients last Friday, and will be available on Fridays from here on out. Dr. Fox will offer consultations and surgeries to patients struggling with cataracts. Dr. Kyle Stansifer, an experienced Ears, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist, will begin seeing patients every second and fourth Wednesday starting August 14. Dr. Stansifer will provide multiple services, including treatments for sinuses, allergies, sleep apnea, and more. The newest licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), Anne Souder, joins the behavioral health team and is passionate about counseling youth and families.
