Tomorrow (Friday) is the last day to register for the City of Glidden’s second annual Art in the Park summer camps. The three-day camp is for artists of all skill levels to inspire creativity while having fun and getting a little messy. The art sessions will take place each day from Aug. 6 to 8 for children entering kindergarten through sixth grade this upcoming school year. Campers will meet each day at the Kruger Shelter House, with kindergarten through second graders from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., third and fourth grade from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and fifth and sixth graders from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Young artists will create two craft projects to take home each day, using various supplies and materials which will be provided. A snack will be offered, but campers are encouraged to bring their water bottle. The cost is $30 per camper, and those interested can find the registration sheet included below. Again, the registration fee and sheet are due to City Hall tomorrow (Friday) to be signed up for this year’s Art in the Park summer camps.
