A Carroll County man previously convicted of theft and credit card fraud has been ordered to serve his original prison sentence after a judge revoked his probation. According to Carroll County District Court records, 54-year-old Daryl Eugene Agent pled guilty to unauthorized use of a credit card in March of 2023 and third-degree theft in July 2023, both aggravated misdemeanor charges. Agent was placed on probation follow the convictions. His probation was formally revoked Thursday after multiple and willful violations, including failing to appear for court hearings and probation officer meetings. Agent’s original sentences of two years in prison for each count will now be served concurrently, and he is to be transferred into the custody of the Iowa Department of Corrections to begin his sentence.
