The Carroll County Fraud Coalition (CCFC) is reminding area business owners and residents that Monday, June 24, is the deadline to register for the group’s next county-wide meeting on fraud prevention. On June 27, ProCircular Chief Information Officer Brandon Blankenship will teach attendees about current business fraud schemes, how individuals can protect themselves, and how to respond when fraudulent activity occurs. ProCircular is a cybersecurity firm based out of Iowa City that provides consultation services to various industries, including finance, education, healthcare, manufacturing, municipal governments, and more. The Thursday, June 27, seminar will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Western Iowa Networks’ (WIN) Carroll Headquarters meeting room. The free program is geared specifically toward small businesses, but all are welcome to attend. RSVPs are required due to space limitations and can be completed using the link included below.
