Carroll Fire Department Responded To A Structure Fire At A Vacant House This Past Weekend

The Carroll Fire Department responded to a call this past weekend for a house fire at a vacant property in Carroll. Crews were dispatched at approximately 5:35 p.m. on Saturday to a structure fire at 313 West 9th St. with smoke coming out of the second story. Carroll Fire Chief Dan Hannasch says crews arrived at around 5:40 p.m. and were on the scene for roughly an hour and a half, extinguishing the blaze. Fire and smoke damage has been reported throughout the interior of the house. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and is still under investigation.
