After a massive turnout of fans of all ages attended the first Stone Pier Summer Concert Series concert last month, the Lake View Community Club hopes to do the same again this weekend with two bluegrass bands. Taking the state at 5:00 p.m. will be Lance Roark, a singer and songwriter from Oklahoma who travels across the county, singing in a genre between country and rock and roll. The main headliner will be The Steel Wheels, a Virginia-based folk-rock band that has spent nearly 20 years writing, recording, and touring the country with traditional and modern sounds expressing the trials and triumphs of life. Food will be available for purchase, with the Lake View Fire Department (LVFD) grilling hot dogs and pork burgers by Arcadia Meats. Various food trucks, including Dolly’s Roadside Grill, H7 Eats, and The Baum Pop Stop, will also be present. The LVFD will also be operating the favorite of boatside attendees, the Burger Boat, bringing food to the fans listening on Black Hawk Lake. Again, the Lake View Community Club invites everyone of all ages to join the free live music event this Saturday, starting at 5:00 p.m. in Lake View on Black Hawk Lake.
