The Carroll County Fair, Blue Jeans, and Fair Dreams 2024 kicks off on Tuesday with favorite classics and some new activities for all to enjoy. Tuesday and Wednesday are mainly for animal and exhibit shows, with Thursday being the first day for scheduled entertainment. Fair Board President Brian Sander says the fair board has been working hard all year, making sure to provide all sorts of fun, which starts at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Sander says Friday and Saturday nights highlight some bigger events, starting with a crowd favorite, the Demolition Derby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Plenty of food vendors will be there, from barbeque from BB’s Smokin Que, tacos from La Terazza, burgers, and steak sandwiches to the classic fair food of funnel cakes, cotton candy, and more. Sander says that aside from the food, drinks, and carnival rides, the admission fee provides individuals with endless fun.
Sander wants to thank all the fair board members, sponsors, and volunteers who continue to make this event a grand time every year. He says it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to continue to make this event a success. He especially wants to thank Jim Mohr, who has previously served as fair board president for the past 32 years and has the answer to all the questions.
