An informational rally to protest against the Summit Carbon Solutions hazardous liquid pipeline will occur tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at the Carroll County Fairgrounds. Many guest speakers, including Former U.S. Representative Steve King, will attend from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to educate Carroll County and surrounding county residents on the proposed 688-mile pipeline through Iowa to North Dakota to a permanent underground sequestration storage site. King encourages all to come out to voice opinions and to grasp a better understanding of what this controversial project will entail.

King says that he and other representatives have been traveling, holding sessions with communities to address the constitutional violation. The real push to inform the public was the approval of the pipeline application from the Iowa Utilities Commission, formerly the Iowa Utilities Board.
