The Breda Firefighters’ Association invites golfers to join them this weekend for their 7th annual golf outing fundraiser to support the Breda Fire Department. While the four-person best ball tournament is already full, with close to two dozen teams already registered, people can still help the department collect money for a new battery-operated mechanical extrication tool. The association is hosting a silent auction beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Breda Golf Club. Breda Firefighter Matt Koster says they have a great selection of items for participants to bid on, including a bundle from Arcadia Meats, a six-foot metal Sasquatch yard decoration, and much more. They are also selling raffle tickets for an Aventon e-bike, valued at $1,900. Tickets are available for $10 each or three tickets for $20 and can be purchased using the contact details included with this story on our website.
