Lake View city officials announced this (Tuesday) morning that a boil advisory issued for residents along Black Hawk Lake’s southern shore has been lifted. The warning was issued over the weekend after the public works department had to temporarily shut off service for a water main repair, which necessitated the advisory due to the potential for contamination. Officials have since received two negative tests for bacterial infiltration and ended the advisory. Staff thanked residents for their patience and understanding during the order.
