Thousands of individuals and families will travel to Lake View this weekend to celebrate the 71st Annual Black Hawk Lake Summer Water Carnival, with events kicking off this Friday evening. This year’s theme, Luau at the Lake, is attempting to bring some of the experiences of Hawaii to Black Hawk Lake. Ally Leners, Water Carnival Committee President, says the midway will have plenty of entertainment for all attendees.
