Lynne was born on February 12, 1964 to Mary and Jerry Tigges of Willey, IA. She studied Education at the University of Northern Iowa and went on to become a teacher, where she would impact the lives of countless children and individuals. She taught for seven years in Nebraska, one year in Wall Lake, and 30 years in the Carroll Community School District. Over the years, Lynne taught Special Education and 3rd grade.

On July 24, 1993 Lynne married the love of her life, Jeff Dvorak, in Willey, IA at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. They were self-proclaimed soulmates from the day they met. Jeff and Lynne have two children, Jon (28) and Emily (26). Lynne was devoted to her faith throughout her entire life– she never wavered even in the most difficult of times. She was known by many for her commitment to serving her church, community, friends and family. Her favorite things were listening to music, enjoying a cup of coffee, her pets, and being in the sun, specifically the beach or her rock garden. However, the thing Lynne cherished most was time spent with family and her many, many friends, all of whom she loved so deeply.

Lynne was reunited with her father Jerry Tigges and father-in-law Lanny Dvorak in heaven. She is survived by her husband Jeff Dvorak, children Jon and Emily Dvorak, mother Mary K. Tigges, and siblings Michelle (Bill) Schreck, Greg (Joni) Tigges, Melissa (Nick) Collison, Pat (Alicen) Tigges, and Chris (Beth) Tigges, mother-in-law Suzanne Dvorak, brothers-in-law Randy (Brenda) Dvorak and Tim (Kimberly) Dvorak.
