Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) and McCrary-Rost Clinics have announced plans to expand their cardiology services through a collaboration with Iowa Heart Center. This partnership introduces Andrea Larson, ARNP, to the SMCH Outpatient Specialty Center on the third Wednesday of each month. With over eight years of cardiology experience, Larson specializes in treating conditions such as heart failure, pulmonary edema, heart attacks, and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. Her expertise will enhance the cardiac care available to Lake City and surrounding communities. Additionally, Dr. Kyle Ulveling will continue to offer cardiology consultations via Telehealth on the first Wednesday of each month, ensuring patients have greater access to specialized cardiac care.
